Cedars Sinai Technology Transfer

The 2016-17 report of the Cedars-Sinai Office of Technology Transfer, which supports research by patenting and licensing medical innovations. The Doyle/Logan Company commissioned eleven artists from around the world to create custom illustrations for the report. Oncosomes are cancer related, cell-derived vesicles that cause all kinds of mischief when they are released – they make other cells easier to invade, they can circulate all over the body and help cancers to spread. I represented a research center, investigation oncosomes so that we concentrate on the cure rather than the disease.

Il·lustració per a l’informe Technology Transfer 2016-17 del centre mèdic Cedars-Sinai, que dóna suport a la investigació mitjançant patents i llicències d’innovacions mèdiques. Doyle/Logan Company va encarregar a onze artistes d’arreu del món il·lustracions personalitzades per a l’informe. Els oncosomes són vesícules derivades de cèl·lules relacionades amb el càncer que causen tot tipus de mal quan són alliberades: fan que altres cèl·lules siguin més fàcils d’envair, poden circular per tot el cos i ajudar els càncers a propagar-se. Vaig representar un centre d’investigació d’oncosomes, per centrar la il·lustració en la curació i no en la malaltia.

Ilustración para el informe Technology Transfer 2016-17 del centro médico Cedars-Sinai, que apoya la investigación mediante patentes y licencias de innovaciones médicas. Doyle/Logan Company encargó a once artistas de todo el mundo ilustraciones personalizadas para el informe. Los oncosomas son vesículas derivadas de células relacionadas con el cáncer que causan todo tipo de daño cuando son liberadas, hacen que otras células sean más fáciles de invadir, pueden circular por todo el cuerpo y ayudar a los cánceres a propagarse. Representé un centro de investigación de oncosomas, para centrar la ilustración en la curación y no en la enfermedad.
